It is our mission, our drive, our motivation to change the world through service to God by way of building a bridge that stretches from the throne of God to the broken lives of mankind. We pledge that our walk with Christ shall lead us to the disciplines of His word, will and ways, so to allow us to transform the word-led individual into a walking, talking, breathing citizen of the Kingdom of God. In order to achieve such a mission, the members of this Church vow to demonstrate qualities of Christ taught from the word of God, such as: Giving in spite of Reaching the down trodden Embracing the misused Advising the doubtful Tugging at the unstable Encouragement to the troubled Renewing the shattered Zeal for the depressed Innovation for the slothful Optimism for the pessimistic Nourishment for the soul Our prayer is for the power of God to help us attain the mission that is set before us so that many lives might be saved! The members of the Greater Zion Church Family have a vision to unify families, communities and neighborhoods and promoting the peace, joy and love of God shown through Jesus Christ. It is our dream and goal to minister to the mind, body and spirit of humanity through the preaching of God’s holy word and the outward demonstration of God’s grace through everyday living. We furthermore declare that no man will be turned away, but instead they shall be received with the open arms in hopes of changing their lives forever through the introduction of a strong relationship with our God.
